There are hard times for artists and music lovers as they don’t know yet a month when the music festivals are coming back.

On 2nd of April, the entrepreneur Bogdan Micu posted a prediction on the evolution of COVID-19 in Romania on his Facebook page based on the number of cases and deaths available on 1st of April. The full prediction can be found here. (All prediction credits from the post are his!)

As he says, the possible date when we can see 0 new cases in Romania is the 1st of July. We can consider a period of 14 more days (the quarantine period) as an error. After that, considering the case of China, the restriction could be lifted in two weeks, so around 1st of August!

Depending on the number of cases from the other European countries (hard to believe that countries like UK, Italy, Spain, France or Germany will have 0 new cases before Romania), I think that we won’t see international festivals this summer in Romania, but it is possible to see some small festivals around the end of August if the artists from the line-up and participants are 100% from Romania!

Also, it is possible (and I hope) to see some festivals with international bands in September in Romania.

Until then, take care of yourselves and your families! I hope to see you again soon at concerts and festivals. We, the Rock Monsters Team, miss them as much as you.

NOTE: This is only a prediction made by one of our admins based on another prediction! We do not recommend announcing events based on this article!
