New Release: iarba Fiarelor – “Desculţ”

Consisting of 12 songs, the album “Desculț” treats in its own aura the different archaic Romanian genres: doina, the song of outlawry and the song of the warrior, the lad’s song, the song of dance, of longing and the popular ballad. The first studio material of the band includes the single ‘Domnișor’, released in November 2019, the doina of rest on tribal rhythms and jungles ‘Încetuc, cu treabă ona (Ioane)’ and a Romanian mantra with howls in ancient tunes.

The material will be released in digital format, along with the booklet that contains the lyrics of the songs included in the album on the band’s Bandcamp profile.

iarba Fiarelor is a musical project that developed around the voice, percussion and lyrics inspired by local culture and written in the native language (neaoș). The project brings together voice, guitar, bass, drums and percussion, instruments that together make a symbiosis between lyrics, rhythms, elements of authentic folklore and recent musical influences.
