Every album has a special story to tell and “Back in Black” makes no exception.

On the 25th of July, Loudwire re-released the documentary “AC/DC: The Making of ‘Back in Black’” to celebrate 40 years since its release. The documentary was free on YouTube for 40 hours, one for every year.

Combining old live videos with amazing interviews with the band’s members, managers and staff, the 23-minutes documentary perfectly shows that every song is inspired by a different event, most of them unpredictable.

It also presents the shock of Bon Scott’s death and how Brian Johnson joined the band and influenced the album. And the rest is history…

The documentary is perfect for a weekend evening if you are a music lover. The only problem is that it is too short, but we can’t have all we want, right?

MY RATING: 8/10
