Robin and the Backstabbers never cease to amaze us. And they didn’t let us down this time either.

The energy was spectacular. The entire concert felt just like taking in the biggest breath of air after staying underwater. The songs, taken from all 3 of their albums, were played not only with intensity, but with a need, a longing for that special connection that can only be felt at a concert. During one of the songs, Robin played the guitar while laying on the stage and you could feel everyone watching not only mesmerized, but completely in tune.
And by watching the people in the audience, you could easily tell that at least one song completely resonated with them because, by the end, everyone had a big smile on their face. So Robin’s wish came true after all: nobody left feeling sad. (“N-a plecat nimeni suparat.”)

To top it all, they managed to create the perfect atmosphere, with the movie Alien playing in the background. The concert ended with Lou Reed’s ‘Walk on the Wild Side’. It felt like we were all a bunch of misfits fitting together after all, but only in that exact time and place.

Așa începe totul, ca-ntr-un vis, salve de tun,
un foc aprins de mâini înghețate amintindu-și.
Și totul se destramă, așa cum ți-am promis
și-o să scăpăm, primește-ți sentința ultima oară.
