After winning the biggest prize at Posada Rock Festival 2020, Olympus Mons, the new stars of Romanian Doom Metal, released ‘Crimson Dreams’, their second single released in 2020.
After listening to this song, I can certainly say that Olympus Mons is officially one of the best European Doom Metal bands.
The song has everything, from a perfect intro to perfect vocals and riffs. It really sounds like a combination of Goodbye to Gravity, early Black Sabbath and Anathema.
Victor Frunza’s melodious voice is perfectly adapted to the whole song’s atmosphere, making it a masterpiece.
What about the video? The Director needs a prize, for sure! If every metal band would have videos like this, a new award should be handed at Oscars.
