The quarantine was a really hard period for bands and artist. We talked to some bands from all over the world to see the real effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic in music.

Today, we talk to Dig Two Graves, a rock and roll band from NJ.

How can you describe the changes generated by the pandemic in the band’s activity?

Well with all shows being cancelled trying to promote our music and interact with fans has basically all been moved to social media for the time being. We’ve been trying to be active on our accounts but with no shows or anything it’s hard to think of content.

What daily activity did you miss the most during quarantine?

Being able to go to a restaurant and eat indoors.

Were there any pluses for this period without concerts?

There definitely are some and one big one for us is that we have had time to work on new material.

How does it feel to return to some normalcy?

It feels really good. We are all definitely excited to return to complete normalcy so we can resume shows and everything.

What plans have you got for the rest of 2020?

Hopefully release a single or two depending on how long it takes to finish up. We all work and have different schedules so it can be difficult for us to all get together sometimes.

Do you have any message for the bands or artists who are still in lockdown/quarantine?

Definitely make use of the time to work on new music and be productive. Try to make some positives out of the situation and definitely keep posting on social media so people know you’re around still.

What message do you have for the people who are going to read this interview?

Thanks for reading, yah!
