On 30th of October 2015, a fire started at Goodbye To Gravity’s concert in Colectiv club. 65 metalheads, including 4 of the band’s members died, and more than 200 were injured.

Unfortunately, after 5 years, nothing has changed in Romania:

  • There are only 23 beds for people with severe burns in the whole country, according to Romanian Minister of Health, Nelu Tataru. Also, no new hospitals have been opened in the last 5 years!
  • Cristian-Popescu Piedone, one of the people who were convicted for corruption, is still a mayor. He won the elections in the Sector 5 one month ago.
  • No concert halls have been opened in the last 5 years. Instead, Fabrica Club was nearly demolished!
  • Rockers and metalheads are still called ‘satanists’ by a lot of Romanians and a lot of stupid people, including the Romanian artist Dan Puric, are still saying that the ones from Colectiv deserved to die.
  • Some clubs, pubs and restaurants are still not having authorization to function. These places are still organizing concerts even though the bands and spectators are not safe at all!
  • Nobody is in prison for the mistakes they made, after 5 years there isn’t a final sentence, a fact that is unacceptable!

We want justice for them, we want a normal country, where it’s safe to go to concerts!

THE DAY WE GIVE IN IS THE DAY WE DIE!
