The quarantine was a really hard period for bands and artist. We talked to some bands from all over the world to see the real effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic in music.

Today we talk to Days To Come, an amazing American, Georgia-based, Hard Rock Band!

How can you describe the changes generated by the pandemic in the band’s activity?

A: Justin – This year has been such a unique season for all of us. So many of us have been negatively impacted by the virus, the economy, & the politics of the age.
During the quarantine, we’ve had the opportunity to learn more about tracking our own music. It’s been challenging, but fulfilling. It gives us a little more control over our sound & it’s allowed you to explore more of our creativity.
We’re excited to promote the release of our new EP, Animus (October 2020), & we hope the music gives our audience hope during this time.

What daily activity did you miss the most during quarantine?

A: Brandon – Nothing, cause I still worked like a man.

Were there any pluses for this period without concerts?

A: Jalen – It really gave us an opportunity to focus solely on writing & creating new music that forced us out of our comfort zone & reflect on what makes us unique.

How does it feel to return to some normalcy?

A: Justin – Wonderful. Who knew that live music would completely disappear for almost a year? No one could have predicted it & I know that I’ll never take live music for granted again.

What plans have you got for the rest of 2020?

A: Brandon – Survive. Yeah, just keep surviving.

Do you have any message for the bands or artists who are still in lockdown/quarantine?

A: Jalen – Persistence is key. The world is going through crazy times right now & it’s up to us to keep inspiring creativity, not only within ourselves, but to others that are going through the same everyday challenges.

What message do you have for the people who are going to read this interview?

A: Justin – Don’t give up hope. The world is a mess right now but there’s still beauty. People are strong and love conquers all.
