Do you accept carolers? Gramofone released a version of the famous carol “Linu-i lin” in its own version.
The Christmas spirit overcame the 4 band members who reunited to delight us with a classic carol, perfect to enter the atmosphere of the winter holidays. Despite all the hardship that 2020 has put us through, the next period is one dedicated to peace and optimism that we all need so much, especially to enter 2021 with fresh forces.

“Linu-i lin” or Stefan Hrusca meets Home Alone who meets GramoHOME, is the Gramofone way of wishing everybody happy holidays with their loved ones and good music.
Although 2020 was an atypical and unpredictable year, Paul, Radu, Cristi and Vlad did not stand aside and worked hard on new songs, some being released this year and most of them being scheduled for the upcoming year.
At the beginning of 2020, the band launched the GramoHOME project, which contains LIVE filmed songs in the attic where all the “music-storms”, the beginnings of all the song ideas and jam sessions, take place. GramoHOME’s first release was “Stay Alive”, followed closely by a funk cover of Billie Eilish’s song, “Bellyache.”
Later, the summer caught Paul and Vlad in Electric Castle Creative Camp, where they spent about a week juggling with musical notes and ideas with artists, such as Adrian Despot, Bean MC (Subcarpati), The Sonic Taste, Herodot, Calin Han, Adrian Mihaiu and Alina Marinescu.
In September, Gramofone continues to combine technology and innovation and launches the first video filmed and played in full 360 ° for the single “My Self”. Also in autumn, the boys received the news that the band was included in INES Talent Pool 2021, a program that supports artists from 19 countries to promote themselves internationally, giving them this way the opportunity to participate in showcase festivals everywhere in Europe.
And as the longing for concerts couldn’t be so easily stopped, Gramofone gave a live recital on Kiss FM Romania channel, filmed and played in 360 °, which can be watched here.
The year 2021 is announced to be even more loaded with new songs and challenges for Gramofone, but until then it’s worth a short break in the form of a carol and the opportunity to have eachother close (physically or virtually).
Gramofone means Paul Dragusin (voice / keys), Vlad Dumitrescu (voice / guitar), Cristian Nicoara (drums) and Radu Camburu (bass).
