2021 is here, so first of all I want to wish you a happy new year.

But is it really a happy year without concerts and festivals? I don’t think so, but we have great news: the concerts will be back in 2021, but under special conditions.

Vaccine Passport/Negative Test Required

The vaccine is finally here and our normal lives could be back soon. Unfortunately, it is impossible to consider the fact that all people will have gotten the vaccine until this summer, so there may be an alternative: the negative COVID-19 test in the last 48/72 Hours also required to enter some countries right now. To be honest, the negative test alternative could be available only if the procent of the people who have received the vaccine is low!

Rumour probability: HIGH

Mask On

Most probably, the masks are going to be required in crowded places in EU and USA this summer and this could happen until the population will hit the “herd immunity” (70% of the population would have received the vaccine). This could also happen if the organizers will decide to accept the negative tests as a “safety passport”, fearing the false negative tests!

Seated Festivals

Hell itself, isn’t it? Unfortunately, this depends on the future situation only and of course, it depends on the festival, as for huge festivals it is almost impossible!

Social-Distanced Festivals

The social-distanced festivals could still happen, but only for really small festivals, as the big festivals do not have a limit for the tickets. I can’t rule it out, sorry.

Indoor Festivals

The good thing is that indoor concerts/festivals most probably could be organized, but they could have supplementary restrictions, depending on the evolution of the pandemic in that country.

No Big World Tours

Where did that come from? International football games are still being played… This can only happen if a lot of countries are heading to another lockdown.

NOTE: The rumours probabilities were set in December after small talks with artists and organizers, everything can change depending on the dynamics of COVID-19.

One thing is 100% sure though. We miss going to concerts and festivals and, moreover, we miss seeing you there. We really hope that festivals can survive during this hard period. Also, do not forget to support your favourite artists in this hard period!
