Black Water is a project that appeared in 2017 in Brașov. Roused by the desire of three artists to change the record a little and to widen their horizons even more, a music was created that touches a less explored area in our country. Returning to passions, older or newer, Black Water’s music is an attractive combination of Synthpop, Electro Gaze and Post-Rock.

The band is currently working on the first full-length material,”Oceans of Scars”, scheduled to appear in 2021, an album that also includes the latest single,”Together As One”.

“In an increasingly dividing world, we can only break through and create something lasting together. For each, “together” can mean something else, simpler or more complex. It can mean a love, a concert, a city, a whole world. For us, the simplest form of “together” is called Black Water. Welcome to our path!”

The video, made by Gina Săndulescu, is based on the actions and expressions of the musicians. For this, different scenes from the film “Attack From Space” have been projected, found in the public domain, which appear in second place. Released in 1964, the film was created for American television and uses the Japanese short film “Super Giant”, which tells the story of the superhero “Starman” embarking on a mission to save the planet from that alien invasion, familiar to all. The story in question becomes just another pretext by which viewers receive mesmerizing representations of themes such as love, the interaction between living beings, different and their intertwining with the world around them. No other image in our immediate realities would have conveyed the meaning of this song as well as those in the film.
