The alternative rock band consisting of 2 Romanians and 2 South Americans, returns with a new strong single.

After the debut material “A long way to nowhere EP”, the musical style of the four has evolved and the musical direction is better outlined and more direct. Any band is looking for their identity and Guilty found it and highlighted it with the new single “Illusions never die”.

Combining post-punk current with the pulsating rhythms of disco music, “Ilusions never die” is a strong and rhythmic song that urges a frantic dance and a state of well-being, much coveted during this period.

The lyrics of the play are a poem that describes a journey to hope and self-confidence. This positivism is a constant feature of the band that is found in all the songs and in the times we live in now we probably need a positive attitude more than ever.

Characterized by a more mature sound, in terms of music composition and production, Guilty is now on the road to public recognition. On the new material you will hear influences from both alternative rock and post-punk current (Joy Division, The Smiths, Interpol, U2, Placebo or Kings Of Leon).

The video of the song was filmed in the IV Metal Foundry studio, in Bucharest, during the recordings that the band made for the first album (material to be released this year). The video was made by the Romanian artist Dhope Design, an artist who has worked with the band in the past for the video “She’s playing with my mind”.

“Ilusions never die” is available in digital format on all online platforms of the band.
