This isn’t a poem, but it is the beginning of The Slow Decay’s second single – ‘’Empire of Gold’’. The Slow Decay is a metalcore band from Iasi, Romania. Its members, Dragos Ciobanu – voice – and the two guitarists – Andrei Bojoga and Alex Popescu – started this project in order to create a very pleasant experience for the listeners and themselves, visual and sonic, in 2020.

‘’Empire of Gold’’ is, as said before, the band’s second single and it was released in February 2021. It allows people to create their own interpretation about it and correlate with their own reality. We discover lots of breakdowns, more than in ‘’Circle’’ – TSD’s first single, and musicality during the 4 minutes and almost a half. The lyrics have a specific charm and the whole song is easy to recognise out of many because of its clean structure and vibe.
