Yesterday, the Romanian band Sea Section released their latest EP “himere” on all streaming platforms.
HIMÉRĂ, himere, s. f. 1. Unfounded imagination, unachievable fantasy; illusion, fantasy.
𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐞 is about awareness and about the moment, about carelessness and having fun (or rather, more about the desire to do that). Four perfect songs to play on repeat on the way to Vama Veche.

The release of the album will take place at Expirat, on July 22, together with Fine, It’s Pink, during our CONCRETE Open Air Series. CONCRETE Open Air Series brings together live, on different stages in the country, the bands and communities from the new wave of the Romanian alternative. A series of new events, at the initiative of SWANBOY Music x Expirat Halele Carol.
Sea Section is an art rock band from Piatra Neamț that debuted in October 2018 at Sofar Sounds Iași with Armand Popa (vocals & guitar) and Andrei Afloarei (guitar & backing vocals). During 2019, two more members joined, Adi Zănoagă (bass) and George Mircescu (drums), with whom the process of creating their first record entitled Vertical Issues began and then they launched in this formula in February on Radio Guerrilla.
Vertical Issues revolves around the problems that each of us experiences in absolute intimacy, problems that persist and make their mark on the thoughts, behavior and the way we evolve. A creation about love, feeling, isolation and acceptance, in all their possible forms. Locked in a cage with the key in his hand, Sentio Ergo Sum.
The song is also available on Apple Music.
