What can you find at the border between rock and metal? Tell you what, an amazing band. I discovered Arshenic a few months ago and now I have the opportunity to introduce you to them.

Arshenic is a Polish female fronted band that plays music in which you can find a dark presence with alt, prog and goth elements. 

Their single “Bloodsuker” is one of the 4 singles they intend to release. Released on June 4, 2021, I liked the track for its dark and heavy vibes and for the clean vocals of Ofilia which are carried by the instruments. 

In my case the song did its job and it did well, hit me hard and clean. As in the past, I played it on repeat and listened for a long time. “Bloodsuker” is a song about a dysfunctional relationship. As the title implies, one is a parasite which takes advantage of the other to be its support as long as many times its beneficial for him. Then when the time comes, leaves. 

This single does a good job of uncovering feelings of sorrow and anger, then it lets you deal with them yourself. 

An amazing band with amazing songs, as this is not their only one, I recommend giving it a go and head over to Spotify or YouTube and discover Arshenic for yourself.
