Romanian band Dimitri’s Bats released a new single called “Titanic” at the end of June. It is about a love story of the past, similar to the one of Jack and Rose from the famous movie. However, the story still lives on in his heart and dreams. He has fallen way too deep to forget her and is trying to reach out to her again.
The song has an intrinsic melancholy, but it isn’t sad at all. It is more of a hopeful call for a lover that seems so close, yet so far away. The instruments also helps convey the idea that he still believes in his dream-world where she can be with him again, as heart-breaking as it may seem once you realise it is all a dream.
