“Hourglass” is the fourth single from “Sand”, the latest album of Belgian group Balthazar, the song’s name fitting the album’s title.

The song’s lyrics speak about a painful and long heartbreak, when time is needed to recover. However, the protagonist feels like the recovery process is too slow and they are running out of patience. The hourglass is a symbol of the wait and the need to break it to find the sand within represents the urge to heal.

Balthazar are coming to perform Friday August 13th at Summer Well. Participation at Summer Well Festival is only possible with EU Green certificate, a PCR test not older than 72 hours or an Antigen test not older than 24 hours.
