As we continue to live this year, we never stop to think about the unusual situation we have come to call normal. Endless restrictions and lockdowns have become the norm. It is a life-sucking cycle, but for some it is an endless source of inspiration.
Released on September 15, 2021, “Vákuum” is the latest album by the Dutch band Teitan, powered only by Devi Hisgen.
A dark album with lyrics about dark scientific theories and dissonant melodies is 100% able to take you on a trip into dark and mind-bending worlds. “The Grinding Teeth of the Wheel of Time” and “I Become the Lunar Sky” struck me the most, black and heavy, both have a story to tell.
Devi said it was a twenty-two-minute journey and I went through everything. The first song, the second, third, fourth and finally the fifth song. It’s like a trip in the dark, as you get used to the sound of black metal, you get accustomed to it, but you still feel overwhelmed.
If this is what you are looking for, I highly recommend giving this album a try.
