The 11th edition of Summer Well is announced to be a legendary one! The festival takes on a new dimension that will combine music, technology, art and more to create a universe of new experiences. We keep the things that are emblematic for the festival: the period and the location. Summer Well 2022 will take place in the second weekend of August, August 12-14, at the Stirbey Domain in Buftea.
Although we don’t want to spoil the surprise, we can give some clues about the next edition of the festival: many stages, a surprising line-up, a bigger hip-hop stage and after parties with big names in electronic music, all continuing our mission, started in 2011, to present to the Romanian public the most relevant artists of the moment.
More importantly, the most requested band is finally coming to Summer Well! Arctic Monkeys are the first surprise in the line-up. One of the biggest British bands, with over 9 billion streams, comes to Romania for the first time next summer. Their music and energy will invade the festival, and their show will definitely go down in our history.
“Every year we make efforts to bring important artists, in Premiere, to the festival stages. The fact that Arctic Monkeys will sing at Summer Well next year is a major musical event next summer and the answer to the demands of our audience over the years. In any poll we have done in recent years, Arctic Monkeys have always been the artists in the first place in the top of preferences”, says John Varbiu, one of the organizers of Summer Well.
Because the safety of the participants is a priority, we make sure that we take all necessary measures in the context of the pandemic. The festival will respect all the decisions of the authorities from that period. The premise of having a green certificate to be able to participate must be taken into account.
