On the 16th of December, 2021, Expirat was the venue where Coma’s fans gathered to bang their heads along to one of the band’s most famous songs for one more time, just before getting into 2022. With an activity of over 20 years, Coma is one of the most popular Romanian rock bands.

In the opening of the live act, The Schnitzels played for the first time live. A new formula of a two-men band, having Jurjak on drums and Narcis Axinte on vocals and guitar. Powerful guitar riffs outlined by a raspy voice were the ones to warm up the public right before Coma burst into.

The show was an absolute sold-out success, starting with their latest release, Aurora, one of the band’s most delicate and calm songs and continuing with their most popular songs such as “Document”, “Chip”, “Bine” and “Coboara-ma-n rai”. “Stai” was an instant crowd-pleaser, keeping the band’s trademark move.
An incredible lightshow, many stage-dives and mosh pits outlined the dynamic riffs and the lyrics full of emotions.

What I love the most about Coma’s live performances is the way that the lead singer, Catalin Chelemen, communicates with the public and creates not just a community of people with the same music taste, but a big family gathered once more.
I was surprised to hear one of the band’s not so known songs from their first album: “Nu Vreau Fetito Casa”, one that I’ve been missing and clearly wasn’t expecting.

The public was delirious, and you could see the band members’ pure energy and happiness to be again on the stage, after a 4 month break.
“Canta-mi povestea” played along with Gogoasa’s bass line was the one requested on bis, as always, a passionate performance, full of emotion, but the public couldn’t get enough so “Aurora” was played again.

Coma’s next live performance is announced to be an acoustic performance at Beraria H, on the 19th of January, 2022, in Beraria H. Tickets still available here.
