The rock / alternative metal band Marsquake releases the new single “Scuze” (“Sorry”). The song comes as a continuation of the previous single “Joacă Murdar” (“Play Dirty”) and captures the melancholic side of the band, the introspective message being sustained by the chords and rhythms of alternative rock. The composition is signed by the band members, the lyrics being made by Rareș Nechita and Andrei-Tiberiu Gîrd. The song also marks the beginning of the collaboration with Taine Multimedia and Undergroundmusic.ro, being recorded in Taine studio, the mix and master part being provided by Mihai Alexandru Dincă.

Gabi Neagu and Ștefan Maidaniuc founded the band Marsquake in 2020. Soon, Romeo Unga joined them as bassist, and Andrei-Tiberiu Gîrd finalized the formula, giving voice to the songs already composed. The approached genre is an eclectic mix of alternative rock in Romanian and post-grunge influences, metal and electro. The origin of the name Marsquake comes from a newly discovered and confirmed phenomenon: the presence of Martian earthquakes. One of their characteristics is the high duration, being recorded intense earthquakes, lasting more than an hour and a half; intensity that is also found in the band’s music.

Marsquake means:

Gabi Neagu – guitar
Ștefan Maidaniuc – drums
Romeo Unga – bass / synth / backing vocals
