The wait is finally over! After 3 years and 2 rescheduled concerts, Slipknot are coming to Bucharest at Metalhead Meeting 2022, a special event organised by Metalhead, iabilet and RockFM.

With 15 platinum records and 24 gold records, they are considered pioneers of heavy metal and regarded as one of the most influential bands in the world of metal. Slipknot were founded in 1995 and are known for their brutal aesthetics and equally brutal lyrics. As with most bands that have seen great success, Slipknot have not been free of controversy, having dealt with everything from arguments among bandmates to being blamed for crimes committed by fans. Nevertheless, they remain a household name among anyone who’s listened to metal at some point in their life.

The show will be opened by the Ukrainian band Jinjer, the official ambassadors of the country, and the American band Vended, a band that includes Corey Taylor’s son Griffin and Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan’s son Simon.
