The evening got off to a great start with the crowd excited to see again the guys from byron live at Berăria H in Bucharest.
The Romanian alt-art rock band has been playing in underground clubs for 15 years now, time during which they have released eight albums and their latest single this year, “Monstrul de sub pat”.
Fresh from Electric Castle’s ‘Hangar stage’, the five members certainly know how to keep a crowd happy, performing a strong set of songs the audience can’t wait to hear.
The band chose ‘Acasă’ from their last album in 2019 ’Nouă’ to kick off the concert. A sober melody that reminds you of the nature that has come to be owned by people who think everything belongs to them. ‘Anima’ and ‘Consumatori de vise’ have followed, a special song for fans that has been certainly a belter since its launch in 2019 and so far.
After that the band played more fan favourites to which the crowd erupted instantly singing uproariously to every single word frontman Dan Byron sang. Highlights included ‘Memento’, ‘Marea’ and ‘Cu capul în nori’. For me personally, the most exciting moment was the track ‘Perfect’ which I always find generates a ton of good energy.

The boys are careful not to neglect their albums written in English, so among them they offered us the track ‘Blow up my tears’, which we recommend you listen to right now if you don’t know it.
The show inevitably ended with a bis – sending one last time for that evening waves of excitement throughout the crowd.
The band left the stage smiling and obviously came into the audience to pose and sign autographs. But at the end of the day it’s always the music that matters the most and this was indeed a solid performance from a group that proved they can still hold their own years after making their debut.
If you haven’t yet experienced a live byron concert, there are still plenty of opportunities to do so, and we’ll leave you with the details below. Looks like it was a very busy summer for them.
