I KILL EVERYTHING I TOUCH is the second single from the upcoming ‘Heartbreak Cinema’ EP. It’s a cinematic blend of Electronic, Alternative Rock and Orchestral music, showcasing the full extend of the band’s sonic footprint.

The story behind ‘I KILL EVERYTHING I TOUCH’:
This is a song about inner conflict and the choices you make that are somehow not in your control. It’s an outcry of disagreement between thoughts and actions, a desperate call for understanding and a subtle warning for the victims of these false intentions. This is a more aggressive showcase of Maria’s voice, with both melodic amplitude and lyrical rage in full effect. Radu’s production and arrangement are also in full display, with this being the most complex and intricate track the project has ever put out. It makes this single a strong contender for the ‘magnum opus’ of the band’s current discography.
This is the second single taken from the upcoming eponymous ‘Heartbreak Cinema’ EP, set to release towards the end of the year with 6 tracks. It follows the debut single of the duo, Plot Twist (released September 23rd). The entire EP was written in Radu’s hometown of Brașov, and recorded in his parents’ messy attic, which provided the closest thing to studioquality soundproofing for a small independent band on a shoestring budget.
Three of the singles will feature music videos, a collaborative effort together with students of the “I.L. Caragiale” National Theatre and Cinematography University.
Heartbreak Cinema are already hard at work on the next single release, the final one ahead of the full EP, which is set to showcase a heterogeneous pallete of styles, influences, and themes, all in an independently-produced, passion-driven package.
A Heartbreak Cinema biography:
Heartbreak Cinema is an electronic rock band, approaching a variety of different styles and influences from Alternative, Metal and EDM. Fronted by lead vocalist Maria Teodora and chief songwriter Radu Bădilaș, the end result is loud, rebellious, story-driven music with a cinematic touch.
Started in 2018 in the bedroom of 17-year old Radu, the first compilation of Heartbreak Cinema productions titled “A Collection of Clouds” was shared with his friends group on November 25th, 2018. It included 4 tracks, 3 of which have later been remastered and officially released as the Test Footage EP, with an added remix of the second track.
The second Heartbreak Cinema EP was released on November 20th 2020, titled “No More Fate and Destiny”. It was made throughout late 2019 and 2020 and it tells Radu’s story of leaving abroad to study film production and quitting soon after. The EP features 4 original tracks, one of which is a collaboration with L.A. based rapper Forsyth.
After a few more singles and collaborations, the project evolved from a solo venture into a band when Radu realised that his music wouldn’t fit well in a live concert. He then approached Maria to help him re-work the project, with the two writing, producing and developing together a brand new, rock-infused iteration of Heartbreak Cinema.
All Heartbreak Cinema tracks are still written and produced entirely in Radu’s bedroom studio.
