On December 6, Melting Dice will have a concert at Control Club where will release a new song – ‘Cuprins’. The single is a stylistic experiment that will continue in the upcoming months with electronic remakes of some of the band’s older songs.
“A cry for help for all the guilt we end up feeling pointlessly, without being useful to anyone or fixing anything. ‘Cuprins’ is the last page of a finished book, from which you can’t detach yet“, says Bogdan Cotîrță, the vocalist of Melting Dice.
The song is written by Bogdan Cotîrță, the music and video production is signed by Cristian Paroș and the mix and master by Dan Georgescu. On December 6, Melting Dice takes the stage again at Control.
The concert will start at 21:00, and the tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the club, on the evening of the event.
About Melting Dice
Melting Dice‘s music can be called alternative rock, but it’s not just that; Bogdan’s vocal timbre and performance could take you to a grunge zone, with 90s vibes, while the metal inflections of the guitar riffs sound modern, abrasive, completing the foundation offered by the enigmatic lyrics.
In 2017, the band released their debut album “Cord Cablu Creier” through a national promotional tour. The material contains ten songs, the band’s own compositions, composed between 2014 and 2016. The recordings were made in the personal studio, and the mixing, mastering and production part was made at Firstline Studio in Italy, the producer being Alex Marton, the one who also signs the production of Robin and the Backstabbers records. The red thread that connects all ten songs on the album is given by the internal battle between passion and reason. The lyrics speak about the experiences lived up to this moment by the four members, but also about the simplest things that they see around and inspire them, regardless of whether it’s about a father and a daughter eating ice cream together or about a grandfather working on his first car in front of the apartment building.
The second studio material, the EP “Mat Deschis” was released at the end of 2020 and is a transitional musical material between the sound of the first album and the one that is currently being worked on, between the band’s initial composition and today’s formula, a necessary material in the band’s maturing process.
