After their successful performances at the MMB Showcase in September and Quantic in December, E-an-na is returning to Bucharest with two upcoming shows. They will be performing an acoustic set at Carturesti Carusel on March 15th, followed by an electric set at Quantic Club on March 16th. These concerts mark the beginning of their upcoming tour.

This comes after the band just released “Alveolar” last week, their latest album that combines multiple styles and musical genres, the album that was recorded with the help of their fans through a crowdfunding.
E-an-na is known for their surprises, and they have already announced some special guests for their upcoming shows. One of the rising stars of Romanian Rock, Dora Gaitanovici, will join them for their acoustic set on the 15th and will also perform with the band at Expirat the following day. Other guests, including Paulina and SPP, will also be joining them at Expirat.
Tickets for the second show are available HERE for only 70 RON.
About “Alveolar”:
“Alveolar” describes an introspection that explores the small artistic refuges we have in an oversaturated world of worries and speed, a world that tires us with an insatiable thirst for our attention. In these small alveoli, we find our sanctuary and the peace that allows us to create further. The album was recorded in different parts of the country, under quite difficult conditions caused by the pandemic, but with an unwavering determination to take the E-an-na world to the next chapter of the story.
About their upcoming tour:
E-an-na will continue the tour with 9 more special shows in Romania’s biggest cities. The full list of dates and tickets are available here.
About E-an-na:
Expressing themselves naturally through folk songs, modern metal and unique interpretations of lesser-known traditional Romanian songs, E-an-na has managed to gather a large fan base from all over Europe.
In 2020, the band decided to break musical barriers by releasing songs from different experimental areas. This is materialized through two fundamentally different EPs released in 2021. Fascinathanatango, an avant-garde EP of tangos, and MLR, an EP that aims to convey that love for music and art should not be censored.
On MLR, there is also the song “Malere”, with which the band entered the Eurovision 2022 National Selection alongside their friend and invited guest to the concert, Bogdan De la Valcea, and made it to the second part of the semifinals. “Malere”, a combination of folk metal and “manele” (a type of Romanian pop-folk music), with a catchy melodic line and lyrics that draw you towards it, is the song that really “sticks in your head” once you listen to it, as evidenced by the fact that the song went viral on Romanian Youtube and Spotify.
E-an-na has gained a large following from all corners of Europe by naturally blending different music styles, including folk, modern metal and traditional Romanian songs. Starting from 2020, the band has been experimenting with different musical genres, releasing two EPs in 2021 that showcase their musical diversity. The first EP, “Fascinathanatango”, features avant-garde tangos, while the second EP, “MLR”, aims to promote freedom of expression in music and art. One of the songs on “MLR”, “Malere”, is a combination of folk metal and manele that became a viral hit on Romanian Youtube and Spotify. The band even entered the Eurovision 2022 National Selection with “Malere”, alongside their friend and invited guest, Bogdan De la Valcea, and made it to the semifinals.
