During July 7-8, one of Romania’s most important open-air festivals returns to the delight of the audience. In its 11th edition in 2023, Rock la Mureș aims to offer music enthusiasts two days of intense experiences. This year, the organizers of the traditional festival on the banks of the Mureș River have set out to exceed all expectations.

As a result, the Cubici stage, which has been dedicated to electronic music in previous editions, will once again be part of the festival setup, featuring a lineup of significant artists from the European techno/EDM scene.
“Many participants in this year’s edition have asked us on social media if the techno/house stage will still be a part of the festival, as it has been in previous years. Since we never want to disappoint our fans and certainly don’t want to deviate from our traditions, we are pleased to announce the first artists who will ignite the atmosphere on the Cubici stage with electrifying DJ sets that will push the boundaries of fun to the early hours of the morning.”
ELIA HAZE, ANTON JONATHAN, and DJ SOURCE are coming all the way from Hamburg, Germany, the promised land of the global techno scene. Elia and Anton, recently awarded the “Artist of the Month” distinction in Hamburg for the months of June and May, are arriving in Romania after a series of explosive concerts throughout Germany.
They have their own artistic collective, The Art of Streets (The A.O.S), under whose guidance they organize various events in Hamburg, ranging from parties to art exhibitions and concerts. The sound of the three revolves around genres such as House, Techhouse, Techno, Ghetto Tech, and even Breakbeat.
Originally from southern Germany, KILIYEN has been a DJ and promoter since 2017, making a name for himself through the Trapnfly collective. He draws inspiration from the realms of Hip-Hop and Trap, but this year he is confidently expanding his sound into the electro genre. In fact, he describes his style as “a blend of techno, tech-house, groovy, and hard house.”
More names, including local artists, are likely to be announced in the coming period. Until then, the organizers of the Rock la Mureș festival invite you to purchase physical festival passes from partner locations throughout the country, as follows:
