Scorpions, a band that has written and continues to write the history of rock and heavy metal, will be performing on June 28th at Romexpo, an open-air venue in Parking C, as part of an event organized by Concerts East, Marcel Avram, East European Production, and D&D East Entertainment.

Emerging in the mid-1960s, Scorpions have influenced entire generations of artists. Rock and heavy metal giants such as Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Megadeth, Def Leppard, Testament, and Helloween have repeatedly stated that Scorpions have left their mark on their music.

To date, they have released 19 studio albums that have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide. According to statistics, the German band has reportedly reached the milestone of selling 100 million albums to date.


The show will be opened by Amalgama, an internationally acclaimed metal project founded by Vlad “Graf” Ivoilov, later joined by the powerhouse duo Timo Sommers and Joey Marin De Boer (both formerly of Delain). With four studio albums and numerous singles under their belt, Amalgama has solidified their presence in the metal scene.

The band’s career has taken them across the globe, performing over 450 concerts in countries like Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine. Their dynamic live shows have seen them share the stage with renowned acts such as Sonata Arctica, Judas Priest, Lordi, Blind Guardian, Dirkschneider, Dragonforce, Grave Digger, Ross the Boss, W.A.S.P., Steel Panther, U.D.O., Airbourne, Hammerfall, Uriah Heep, and more.
