In the summer of 2023, Constanta-based metal band, Awake The Demons, released its first EP titled “Trials.” With vibrant energy and a contagious passion for music, it marks a new stage in the band’s evolution and opens the doors to new opportunities for recognition. “Trials” is the result of an innovative combination of powerful chords and deep lyrics, with the EP exploring various themes, its message enveloped in metaphors inspired by the Greek legend of Icarus and his father, Daedalus.
The 8 songs on the EP were meticulously crafted, with each note and word strategically placed to take the listener on a unique journey. Awake The Demons is a band whose foundations were laid as early as 2016, passionate about metal music and known for its innovative and energizing sound. With young and talented members and a series of captivating live performances – including appearances at both editions of the May, Be Rock festival, Seawolves Bike Fest XV, Without Walls Fest #2, concerts alongside E-an-na, Hteththemeth, An Theos, and Dishonored from Bulgaria, as well as those held for the EP launch in Constanta, Iasi, and Cluj, among others – they continue to win the hearts of listeners and surprise the audience at every performance.
