Sofia Zadar is having a special concert in Echoes Haus on Saturday, 24th of February, in a CORE Agency event.

On Dragobete and a full moon night, Sofia Zadar presents a concert with inserts of performative storytelling and mythological and ritualistic invitations. Local and global folklore stories, reinterpreted through a queer and feminist perspective, will intertwine and unveil archetypes of the wild, monstrous, and emancipatory self, animalistic and unassimilable.

Sâmca and Antigona, Selkie and Baba Iaga traverse abysses and chasms to unearth speculative futures from the artifacts of the past. Emerging alongside the Full Moon of Ice, the unique structure of this performative concert invites connections with bodily and ancestral wisdom, with possible rhythms aligned to natural cycles, with all that was ours before we were dispossessed.
