What is BandBook? It’s a comprehensive service platform designed to connect artists with the various entities in their orbit, including fans, event organizers, and key media figures in the industry. The agency aims to provide artists, whether established or emerging, with tailored services to unlock and monetize their potential.

The other day, BandBook expanded its roster of artists with three more names: Andra Andriucă, Paul Tihan, and Diana Căldăraru.

Andra Andriucă

Andra Andriucă, an artist from Iași, draws inspiration from people, nature, and the hustle and bustle of life and thought, weaving soulful stories into lyrics and chords. Alongside her voice and guitar, the project has evolved into a band that crafts songs with an indie, pop-rock sound, sprinkled with alternative notes.

In 2024, her debut album, “Liniștea nu se împarte” (The Silence Isn’t Shared), emerged, encapsulating Andra’s journey through song since the beginning. The album is akin to a journey along a road lined with blooming flowers on the horizon, yet sometimes, due to uncertainties, wanderings, or unrest, they may wither. The six tracks on the album each gather a bit of forgiveness, patience, and tranquility, from which other flowers sprout anew, worthy of being cherished with greater care, each day.

In March, Andra Andriucă and Paul Tihan, another indie-poetry-rock project from Iași, embarked on the WELCOMING TOUR, their joint album release tour, which took them to Bucharest, Cluj, and Iași, with three sold-out concerts.

The lineup of Andra Andriucă’s band is as follows: Andra Andriucă on vocals, guitar, Vlad Lazăr on electric guitar, Ciprian Onița on piano, Codrin Pălimaru on bass, Călin Andrei on drums.

Paul Tihan

Paul Tihan, an artist from Iași, has evolved from his raw-acoustic roots into a present-day quintet that illuminates his thoughts and experiences. The project’s essence transcends any particular musical genre, unfolding more as a journey through chapters that reveal life’s subtle layers. In musical terms, Paul categorizes his project as indie poetry rock.

The album “Din noile căderi am să adun tot zborul”  delves into the turmoil we experience within ourselves. It portrays the chaos that evolves into clear and ultimately healing forms. You might find yourself lying in a field of flowers, only to plummet into the depths of the most profound solitude. Yet, in the end, when you’re lost as to which way to turn, you’ll know exactly where to direct your wings.

Diana Căldăraru

Diana is an artist/songwriter from Romania who embarked on her music journey at the age of 3. She blends traditional elements of soul and R&B genres with a contemporary and personal attitude. Using the piano, she adds rich and vibrant harmonies.

After spending the last 4 years making music in the Netherlands, Diana decided to return to Romania and release her first EP, with the debut track already available on all streaming platforms titled “Going Nowhere.”

Diana’s repertoire includes both classic soul and R&B songs as well as original compositions, expressing her own vision and creativity. With deep and personal lyrics, Diana explores themes such as love, vulnerability, intimacy, and self-understanding, offering her audience a captivating musical experience.

Diana’s charisma and stage presence add a special dimension to her live performances. She interacts with the audience, creating an intimate atmosphere where every listener feels connected and engaged in the musical story she tells.

Diana Căldăraru handles vocals and piano, Robert Rusoiu is on guitar, Ana Wolf plays the bass and Andrei Popa is on drums.
