BandBook agency launches a new concept, meant to bring a fresh nuance to the music that will accompany your summer – Band[Tone]. “Purple Sessions” is the first series of concerts in this concept and will take place at Expirat Halele Carol.

The Band[Tone] concept adds color to the music of your summer soundtrack! Band[Tone] represents a series of periodic concerts, featuring artists from the BandBook portfolio, hosted at Expirat Halele Carol.
“Purple Sessions” is the first event in this series. Why purple? Because it is a precious color, symbolizing magic and rarity. Artists such as Ana Coman, Delta Pe Obraz, Paul Tihan & Andra Andriucă, Taking Back August, Bucium, and Diana Căldăraru will envelop you in shades of purple.

“We chose together, as a team, the color purple because it reminds us of rare sunsets, of an intense violet, of the spotlight lights at Expirat, and of a healthy dose of magic – just as good music inspires us. We are very excited about the selection of artists we will have this summer, the list covers a wide range of styles and musical approaches. We want our ‘purple’ to suit everyone, so we will go from the tough attitude of metalcore to the gentleness of indie pop. A very beautiful summer awaits us!” – Irina Marinescu, PR & Communications Manager.

Tickets are available through the IaBilet network. There will also be 15 subscriptions available, valid for all concerts in the series and you can find them here.

The concert that will kick off “Purple Sessions” will be by the Bucium, on June 26th.
Bucium offers an authentic show, full of the passion of fairy tales and Romanian legends, which they rejuvenate through original rock compositions. Let yourself be captivated in a true musical journey!

And for an extra bit of joy, the band announces that they are working on the next album. So, they will bring, on stage at Expirat, some previously unheard pieces, in an acoustic format.
Bucium is a rock band with folk, ambient, and symphonic metal influences, characterized by the use of two violins alongside guitar, bass, drums, traditional instruments, and vocals.
All of Bucium’s creations are inspired by myths and legends, but the lyrics and music are original compositions.

At the end of 2022, with the winter solstice, the band released the album “Zimbrul Alb” at Club Expirat in Bucharest.

This is a project that the BandBook team wants to develop over time. Thus, each series will be associated with a color.
