Heartbreak Cinema is embarking on a mini-tour this month, hitting three cities: Iași, Bucharest, and Brașov. These upcoming shows mark their first performances outside of the capital, a significant milestone for any band. It’s a chance to reach out to new audiences and extend their message beyond familiar territory.

The band made a splash in the Bucharest punk scene with tracks like “Fuckaholic” and “Nymphobia,” tackling the harsh realities of female experiences in Romania with raw, explicit lyrics. These songs speak volumes about abuse and injustice towards women, delivered with an innovative, aggressive voice that demands attention.

“This May marks our first venture resembling a tour as a band: a series of headline shows in multiple cities, featuring brand new tracks and, hopefully, gaining new fans along the way. We’re excited to meet new people in cities that have been on our bucket list since we started out. That’s why we’ve prepared some unreleased pieces, still in the works, which we’ll debut on this tour. They’ll be included in our debut album, which we’re working hard to make as cool and memorable as possible. We hope to add more stops to this tour in the coming months and meet as many fans from all corners of the country,” says Radu Bădilaș, bassist and founder of Heartbreak Cinema.

Heartbreak Cinema delivers a fusion of rock energy and electronic sound, drawing from a variety of styles and influences in Alternative, Metal, and EDM. The result is rebellious, powerful, and rich in narrative.

Comprised of Maria Teodora, Radu Bădilaș, Vlad Casian, and George Moței, the band presents a vibrant mix of colors and attitudes, expressing themselves through uncensored music, captivating with cinematic sound design and unconventional rhythms.

In 2023, Heartbreak Cinema released “Fuckaholic” featuring Iris Danciu (notparamore, former Jinxy Von D’ers), an explosive collaboration addressing the frustrating reality of negative female experiences.

They kicked off 2024 with the release of their latest single, “Nymphobia” – the darkest track yet, portraying seduction in its most violent form, stripping away eroticism to reveal pain and fury.

Heartbreak Cinema continues to release music and gather new fans from all over the country. Whether on the road or in the studio, they’re tirelessly working on their debut album.
