About Dimitri’s Bats
Formed in Bucharest in 2017, Dimitri’s Bats is an indie-pop sensation. Their debut EP “Mess” was released in late 2018, with the single “Cold” being named one of the top 10 Romanian songs of the year by Radio Guerrilla. Their second EP, “Monobloc,” dropped in early 2023, featuring singles like “Get Your Fix,” “Casablanca,” and “Timeout,” all accompanied by music videos. The band has played at major festivals such as Summer Well, Electric Castle, Catedral Festival, Living Rock Tuzla, and internationally at events like Tallinn Music Week (Estonia), Juwenalia PW (Poland), and BuSH (Hungary). They’ve headlined the Mastering the Music Business showcase and opened for renowned acts like The 1975 (UK), Son Lux (US), and Daria Zawiałow (PL).
About Armand Popa
Born and raised in Piatra-Neamț, Armand Popa is a dynamic artist and producer who moved to Bucharest in 2019 to immerse himself in the city’s vibrant music scene. Initially the lead vocalist for Sea Section, Armand shifted his focus to music production at Seek Music. His solo work blends neo-psychedelic, alternative rock, and indie styles. In March, he released his debut single, “80s luv,” a track that captures the feel of a heartfelt conversation about a breakup on a rooftop.
