DWMT La Conac opens the second edition of the only arts and music festival in southern Romania with an international headliner!
DWMT La Conac, the only arts and music festival in southern Romania, organized by DIUD in collaboration with Point, returns on September 7-8 for its second edition, featuring a richer lineup and a complex cultural experience.
In the first wave, the Main Stage will host Romanian artists such as Om la Luna, HVNDS Lite, The Kryptonite Sparks, Delta Pe Obraz, Musspell, Simona Delegeanu, Paul Tihan & Andra Andriucă, and for the first time at DWMT La Conac, the festival’s first international headliner: Kerala Dust. Founded in 2016 in London, but now based in Berlin and Zurich, the band is known for its innovative blend of blues, Americana, eclectic beats, and hypnotic elements.
The alternative stage will once again be a highlight for music explorers, serving as an important venue for discovering new and emerging acts.
Besides musical premieres, the second edition of DWMT La Conac will also celebrate visual arts with an exclusive exhibition spread across the entire Udriște-Năsturel Mansion, both indoors and outdoors. Curated by Medina Pop and titled “We Lived Good Lives,” the exhibition will offer a multidisciplinary and intersectional experience, featuring works by emerging Romanian artists alongside mature names, inviting the audience to reflect on the role of memory as a process and catalyst for gratitude and celebrating the simple act of “being,” here and now.

“The presence of Kerala Dust, the first international headliner of DWMT La Conac, and the collaboration with Medina Pop in the visual arts sphere represent a big milestone for our festival. Because we wanted the synergy between music, arts, and emotions – the element that sets us apart from other festivals in Romania – to take center stage even more, we created a more complex and richer experience together with our partners at Point, both in terms of artistic performances and live experiences, which we are super excited to share in the same familiar and perhaps even more spectacular setup at the Mansion,” says Anca GHEORGHE, Head of DIUD.
