Syfo Dias will release the music video for the song “Prison of Reason” with a concert in Bucharest, at The PUB Universitatii, on August 8. The song is featured on their debut album, ‘In Tension’, which was released on March 29 and celebrated with a concert at Control Club in front of more than 200 people.

The video, directed by Matei Simion (the lead singer of Syfo Dias) and Mihai Feflea, concludes the first stage of the band and features a special appearance by actor Laurențiu Bănescu (‘Umbre’, ‘Boss’). The video, a cinematic project inspired by Andrei Tarkovski’s ‘Stalker’, follows the characters on a journey of self-discovery in a desolate universe, with scenes filmed on the Danube, in Orșova, at Băile Herculane, and finished in the well-known Băile Neptun.

At the August 8 concert, besides the ‘In Tension’ album, the audience will also be able to listen to new material from the band for the first time, as well as their first cover song adapted in their own style.

Syfo Dias was formed in 2021, and after their first concert in London, they have had numerous live appearances on Bucharest stages, including Fabrica, Control, and Trei Bețivi, as well as at the Femei pe Mătăsari festival. The band has also been invited to the show ‘Nesemnații’ hosted by Bogdan Șerban, and to DJ Hefe’s show on Black Rhino Radio, Vertigo Cultural, where they talked about the formation of the project, its evolution, and their dreams.

Syfo Dias consists of Matei Simion (vocals), Teodora Rotaru (vocals), Andrei ‘Covici’ Ștefănescu (guitar), Horia Constantinescu (keyboards & backing vocals), Luca Rotaru (bass), Andu Devesievici (drums), and Vlad Goian (guitar).
