On August 14, 2024, TNB will host a special concert featuring Rockabella and Leyah, offering an extraordinary blend of their unique musical styles.

About the bands

Rockabella blends art-rock, indie pop, and alternative influences in storytelling songs about the moments that transform us. Teodora Moroșanu, the lead singer of Rockabella, described the band’s newest album – [IN]vulnerabili: “We are all vulnerable. To be alive means to be vulnerable. To have relationships with people, to love! Nothing reveals your weaknesses more clearly than love. We grow up with the idea that being vulnerable means being weak. That the world has something against us and if we let them, people will hurt us. We spend our lives building walls to protect ourselves. We spend our lives trying to become invulnerable.“

Leyah is the first Romanian artist and composer to bring the Cinematic Pop style to the Romanian music scene through her compositions. Trained in classical music, Leyah began studying piano at the age of 5. Her father, Modest Cichirdan, a classical music conductor, had a defining impact on her professional development. After completing her higher studies in music, Leyah made a crossover to pop music and started composing her own music. Her concert concept, “CINESTEZIA,” has been featured on well-known theater stages across the country, as well as at the George Enescu Festival.

About Rooftop Season

This summer, Overground Music and the National Theatre Bucharest are presenting Rooftop Season – the coolest concert series of the summer! Attendees will have the opportunity to rediscover their favorite music live in a unique setting – on the rooftop of the National Theatre Bucharest. Above the urban hustle, under the starry sky, and with the city lights on the horizon, the audience will enjoy unforgettable evenings with artists such as byron, Mădălina Pavăl, Vița de Vie, E.M.I.L., Toulouse Lautrec, Luna Amară, and others.

Every week, starting from July 10th, the public is invited to the Sala Amfiteatru of the National Theatre Bucharest to experience the magic of summer at Rooftop Season – the place where music and the sky meet.
