The Case, one of the most prolific and acclaimed alternative rock bands from Timișoara, will perform a special concert on August 17 in the city on the Bega River, at Civic Park, starting at 6:00 PM, as part of the Celebration of the City event.

The concert is part of “Time to Rock,” an initiative by the Timiș County Youth Foundation (FITT) that supports the rock culture in Timișoara by promoting both new and established rock bands.
The live performances offered by The Case are true bursts of energy, where fast-paced guitar riffs meet dreamy synth elements and highly melodic electro infusions, creating an electrifying soundscape.
Their complex sound structure, which incorporates a wide range of influences from garage rock and grunge to electronica and synthpop, has garnered significant attention. This has ultimately turned The Case into one of the most active bands in Timișoara in terms of live performances.
Over time, their live portfolio has included performances at major open-air festivals such as Electric Castle, Snow Fest, B’est Fest, Made in TM, Padina Fest, Route 68 Summerfest, and Arad Open Air Festival.
Recently, the Timișoara-based band released a new single, “Kings & Jesters,” a track with a message as powerful as it is deep and full of emotion. The music video accompanying this single is highly suggestive in this regard and has a profound impact, with obvious references to the current geopolitical situation that are truly stirring.
From a compositional standpoint, the band surpasses the boundaries they have previously established, offering a kind of post-rock with dizzying shoegaze passages that can stir even the most dormant emotions.
Thus, “Kings & Jesters” marks a new musical direction for the band, experimenting without decisively breaking away from the sound identity they have built over time, but enough to spark the imagination and make listeners eager to explore this creative vision more deeply.
The song will be performed live at the concert scheduled for August 17 in Civic Park, Timișoara, starting at 6:00 PM. Admission to the event is free, so everyone is encouraged to attend in large numbers!
