“The DWMT project, supported by Diud, was born out of our desire to remain active, explore, build new relationships, and grow, even when it seemed like there was nothing left to do. In this context, the festival emerged naturally. After a few public events, we realized there was both demand from participants and a great passion from us. So, we decided to embark on this journey. We had the patience to let things fall into place and were fortunate to meet the right people to organize a festival as we envisioned. We are only at the second edition, and we are confident it will be at least as successful as last year. So we look to the future and continue building under this platform, DWMT.” Andrei Gheorghe, co-founder of DWMT la Conac.

Continuing Collaboration with Women in Music Romania

The collaboration with Women in Music Romania continues with daily discussion panels on relevant topics, such as “Public Perception and Opportunities in Art” and “Creative Courage – How Artists Turn Fear into Impact,” featuring guests and moderators from the industry.

On Saturday, at the Forest Stage, the discussion will focus on public perception and opportunities in art, with speakers including Alex Coțofană (Marketing Manager Global Records), Alina Bălan (PR Global Records), Ovidiu Saracan (musician), and Andra Rotariu (Artist Manager).

On Sunday, the same stage will explore the theme of creative courage, discussing how artists transform fear into impact, with interventions from Ileana Sebe (Managing Director Next Advertising), Doru Pușcașu (leader of Om La Lună), Heracleea Lateș (Architect), and Cristina Oltean (Head of Digital Women in Music Romania).

Both sessions will be moderated by Larisa Bernaschi.

Visual Arts

Alongside music, the festival will celebrate visual arts with the exhibition “We Lived Good Lives,” curated by Medina Pop, inviting the public to explore deep themes related to life and memory through the works of over 20 Romanian artists. Among them are Nadina Stoica, Vlad Nancă, Sergiu Chihaia, Ioana Aron, Lucian Hrisav, Traian Cherecheș, Luca Florian, Andreea Badea, Ileana Sebe, Alexandru Ranga, and Mircea Barac, each contributing to a collective story about identity and memory.

“Memory shapes our identities, influences our decisions, and connects us with both what was before us and what will be after us. From the fleeting beauty of a childhood landscape, evoking warmth and nostalgia for the ease of being, to abstract forms that convey the elusive, dreamy quality of a distant memory, art is a poignant reference to how the past continuously shapes the present. ‘We Lived Good Lives’ is, in fact, a celebration of life as we know it. Whether you let it work on your intersections and recollections or allow the perspective on others’ experiences to dominate, this exhibition reclaims the importance of art in preserving individual and collective stories, in relation to our human nature and the sense of a non-human future.” Medina Pop.

Culinary Experiences Complement the Festival

The festival’s food & drink area brings together a selection that reflects the organizers’ passion for authentic flavors and quality local businesses. POINT offers a selection of cocktails and drinks that elevate the festival standard, while friends from NOUA BAR, Arrosticini, Arepas Colombianas, Mori.colive de viata, Grain Trip, and Butter come with a mix of flavors not to be missed.

Access and Practical Details

The festival opens its gates daily at 2:00 PM and ends at 2:00 AM. A dedicated parking area is available, but alternative transport via special buses is recommended—tickets can be purchased from tickets.dwmt.ro, and then validated at dwmt.ro/transport, where all necessary details are available.
