The 7th edition of the Zacusca de Artă Festival, which will take place on September 6th and 7th, 2024, in the picturesque setting of the Medieval Fortress of Târgu Mureș starts today.

This festival combines live music, visual arts, street theater, and a variety of other activities to offer an unforgettable cultural experience. The festival will feature an exceptional musical lineup, with diverse performances by renowned talented artists and local bands. Among the guests are Mihail (acoustic), Paulina, Valeria Stoica, E-AN-NA (acoustic), as well as local bands like Văile, Choleric Chameleon & JNT, and Frog Commits Tax Fraud, who will take the stage to provide the audience with a memorable evening.

 Zacusca de Artă Festival is organized to celebrate and promote art and culture in a festive and accessible setting for the community, bringing together local and national artists to provide a diverse cultural experience. Its goal is to enrich the cultural life of the city and strengthen community cohesion through social interaction.

The festival includes a wide range of activities, from art exhibitions and theater performances to stand-up comedy, creative workshops, and fire juggling shows. Through this variety, the festival not only offers entertainment and education for all ages but also supports the preservation and development of the community’s culture.

In 2024, the festival brings new features compared to previous editions, including a series of interactive and educational workshops. These include creating sustainable puppets for children, clay modeling for the little ones, an embroidery workshop, scouting activities, and a personal development workshop.

These new additions will provide unique opportunities for participants to learn and express themselves creatively, thus complementing the festival’s varied cultural offerings. Additionally, it wouldn’t be the Zacusca de Artă Festival without the authentic taste of autumn. Participants are invited to enjoy traditional zacusca and other delicious culinary surprises from the Fortress Fair, which will complete the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
