The “Purple Sessions” by BandBook are coming to an end! Diana Căldăraru returns for the second time to Expirat Halele Carol, bringing her melodious piano and heartfelt music.

Diana Căldăraru brings good vibes and purple hues on September 26 at Expirat Halele Carol!

After spending the last four years making music in the Netherlands, Diana decided to return to Romania and release her first EP, with the lead single “Going Nowhere” already available on all streaming platforms. Diana is a Romanian artist/songwriter who began her musical journey at the age of 3. She blends traditional elements of soul and R&B with a contemporary, personal touch. With the help of her piano, she adds rich, vibrant harmonies.

Diana’s repertoire includes both classic tracks from the aforementioned genres as well as original compositions where she expresses her unique vision and creativity. With deep, personal lyrics, she explores themes like love, vulnerability, intimacy, and self-understanding, offering her audience a captivating musical experience.

And since this is the last episode of our purple series, the BandBook & Expirat teams have a surprise in store: Diana’s concert will be accompanied by a PURPLE PARTY, featuring two BandBook members: Irina Marinescu and Irina Canacheu, aka irinesque and blue.nasa.

You may know Irina Marinescu from the articles she writes for RockFM or maybe you’ve seen her front and center at concerts. Music has always played an important role in her life, even though she never studied it. With a fiery playlist and a fresh vibe, Irina takes the stage at Expirat to share her passion with you.

You may also recognize Irina Canacheu from Bogdan Șerban’s radio show, yes, also on the radio, but this time at Radio Guerrilla. With an equally strong passion for music and a colorful playlist, Irina Canacheu brings a carefully curated selection of tracks to the Expirat stage, for everyone, whether you’re into underground or mainstream.
