The charitable event “Munteanu Fest” on October 15th contributes to raising funds for Grivița 53 – the first theater built from the ground up by the community.
Each year, Munteanu donates his birthday to various social causes. This year, the Grivița 53 project was chosen.
The annual charitable festival “Munteanu Fest” has reached its eighth edition. On his birthday, Bogdan Munteanu invites the general public to participate in an unforgettable event. The purpose of this event is to support the Grivița 53 project, and this year’s edition will take place on October 15th at Expirat Halele Carol.
No fewer than 5 artists have joined this year’s endeavor, offering pro bono performances at the festival. These are: Ana Coman, D-L Goe, Prima Dragoste, Andra Andriucă, and Marinov.

“This year marks the 8th edition of Munteanu Fest. I’m very happy that every year my dream comes true – to donate my birthday to a charitable cause and to create a festival around this idea. I am grateful to Expirat for hosting and supporting the event, and also to the five artists who said YES without any hesitation to my invitation to join this event: Ana Coman, D-L Goe, Prima Dragoste, Andra Andriucă, and Marinov. I chose the Grivița 53 campaign because I pass by the construction site every week on my way, and I see how this grand dream is taking shape, with the building rising swiftly. I am fascinated by the determination and dedication of Chris Simion-Mercurian and Tiberiu Mercurian to complete this bold project. I want to give a helping hand through the event on October 15th because I believe we need theaters, artistic expression, and education,” said Bogdan Munteanu, the event organizer.

- A theater show: 50 lei
- A cornerstone: 75 lei
- Art consumer: 100 lei
- Theater lover: 150 lei
- Grivița 53 Brick*: 300 lei (The brick can be received physically on the night of the event and will have the buyer’s name engraved on it.)
A purchased ticket grants access to the festival and serves as a donation to the Grivița 53 Cultural Association. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Grivița 53 campaign: grivita53.ro. More details can also be found on the event’s dedicated page: Facebook event link.
