SESAME Project Brings Artists from 6 European Countries to Bucharest
10 bands and artists from France, Turkey, Moldova, Georgia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Romania will participate in creative camps and perform concerts in several clubs in Bucharest as part of the European SESAME project – “Set Sail To Music Export”.
SESAME aims to support the mobility of artists from regions adjacent to the Black Sea, France, and Moldova. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the LIVEMX program and is implemented in Romania by the Star Education Association in partnership with the French Institute.
The participating artists were selected by an international jury of music industry professionals from Romania, Bulgaria, France, Sweden, and Greece. These artists will participate in creative camps in pairs of 2 bands/artists and will then hold a joint concert in a Bucharest club.
During the creative camps, they will be assisted by experienced music producers and will participate in workshops on various topics in the music industry: copyright, music distribution, international touring, music export. Additionally, they will learn more about the music markets in Romania and France.
