The Strizzers open their live season of 2025 with the ever first “Almost Acoustic” concert in Bucharest – Thursday, February 20, at the Uzina Coffee (Amzei Square nr. 5), where they invite you to listen to their urban rock in an intimate setting and in an never heard before setup.

If you felt encouraged by I Am a Winner“, you cried on “You Can’t Say We Never Tried” or danced to “See the Lights“, now is the time to listen to these songs in a raw and more sincere version, with no backing tracks, but tangled in new layers of pure emotion.

Access for the event is made on a reservation basis, confirmed by email via the venue at contact@uzinacofee.ro. As the number of seats is limited, people are encouraged to make reservations early on.

The Strizzers is a band that has developed its own subgenre of alternative rock – urban rock. Their music draws energy and inspiration from the daily hustle and bustle of Bucharest, their hometown.

They released several singles between 2022 and 2023, held concerts in Bucharest and other Romanian cities, were mentioned and/or presented at multiple radio stations, did interviews, articles and many other activities, all culminating with the release of their first album, Some Kind of Hero”, in November 2023.

The year 2024 came with the first concerts outside Romania, respectively the Beyond Borders Tour organized with the band People of Maha from Bulgaria. During this tour, The Strizzers played for the first time an acoustic version of their songs and encouraged by the success they found in Sofia, decided to bring this version of their music home too.

Currently, The Strizzers means: Monica-Elena Costin (voice), Andrei Hoisescu (guitar), Marius Barbu (guitar), Alec Cardos (bass), Pavel Borta, aka Pasha (drums).

You can follow their activity on social media platforms (@thestrizzers), such as Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, and their music can be found on YouTube, Spotify or other streaming platforms.
