Originally from the heart of Transylvania but active on the Bucharest music scene, Vlad Corb releases the highly anticipated single Prometeu, marking his debut under the Cuib Records label.

Known for his intense and deeply emotional indie-alternative rock sound, Vlad translates the raw intensity of his emotions into a track that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Prometeu fuses multiple genres, rooted in alternative rock with R&B influences and culminating in a grand, cinematic chorus. More than just a personal story, the song challenges listeners to ask themselves: What if I stopped being the good half of a relationship?

Vlad Corb’s new release is an outpouring of raw honesty—a cry of helplessness in the face of love doomed to fail. Throughout the creative process, Vlad attempted to detach himself from the deeply personal nature of the song, yet each time, he found himself trapped in the thoughts and emotions tied to a toxic, suffocating relationship.

Produced at Cuib Records in collaboration with Andrei Robin Proca (Robin and the Backstabbers), the song envelops the listener in a hypnotic and haunting atmosphere, solidifying Vlad’s place as a rising voice in Romania’s alternative music scene. The track’s teaser, released in December 2024, already sparked excitement on TikTok, hinting at the success of the full release.

The launch of Prometeu is accompanied by a bold one-shot music video, directed by Răzvan Leucea.
