Celelalte Cuvinte will perform a special concert on February 27, 2025, at Quantic, giving fans a unique opportunity to rediscover the album Se lasă rău live. This record, considered one of the most iconic in the band’s history, will be available for purchase exclusively at the concert in its newly reissued vinyl edition.
Lead singer Călin Pop stated: “We are thrilled about the reissue of this emblematic album, which represents a significant chapter in the band’s history and reflects the social struggles of the post-1990 era. But above all, our greatest joy remains reuniting with fans of all ages, who never miss our shows.”
Originally released on vinyl in 1992, Se lasă rău was heavily influenced by the social and political events of the time, including the University Square protests, the Târgu Mureș conflicts, and the miner riots. With a more aggressive sound incorporating elements of heavy metal and thrash metal, the album initially surprised fans but later became a cornerstone of Romanian rock. Thanks to the initiative of Alfa Test Timișoara (Sorin and Marius Toader), the album has now been reissued and will be available exclusively at the concert.
The event will be opened by Jahmolxes, an instrumental band blending elements of progressive and psychedelic rock.
