With two albums under their belt, Pot (2014), Umaniac (2017) and two singles released during the pandemic (Dezleagă-mă and Când ne mai facem bine), Bodark returns in 2025 with a new single, Vorbește-mi, an anthem dedicated to authentic interhuman communication, a cry against superficiality and the barriers created by technology.

It is available on the band’s YouTube channel starting on the February 27th, 2025, through a unique lyric video.
„A simple tremor of the voice conveys much more to us than any written words, any lines or texts that can never be replaced by the emotions and feelings of communication through live speech. And more than once I witnessed misunderstandings or even fights due to written messages that were not understood, were twisted or misunderstood” – Vali Mihnea, the lead singer and one of the founding members of Bodark.
A unique aspect of the song is the presence of Sergiu Marin’s cello, an artist who previously left his mark on the Pot album. The song is recorded in the Bodark studio and is mixed and mastered by Andrei Bazi.
The new song will also be celebrated with a free entry launch concert, on Sunday, March 9th, in True Club, Bucharest. They will be joined by LUNATIC band as special guests.
During their years of activity, Bodark managed to form its own style, a combination of alternative and classic rock, complemented by passages of synthesizers, cellos or violins. Their music is complex, the songs are built on strong guitar riffs alternating with melodic passages, with varied dynamics. The lyrics address topics ranging from political, social and existential issues to personal introspection and reflections on human nature. Today, Bodark means Vali Mihnea (vocals), Marius Barbu (guitar), Ionuț Guzu (guitar), Andrei Dancău (drums), Dani Rizea (bass).
LUNATIC made their debut in the summer of 2020. The band’s music oscillates between an x-ray of emotions and personal experiences and a parody of the human condition – the two faces of the band. As a genre, it is positioned somewhere between pop-rock and space-rock.
