Electric Castle, one of Europe’s most vibrant and eclectic music festivals, has officially revealed the complete lineup for its 2025 edition. Taking place between July 16–20 at Bánffy Castle in Bonțida, Transylvania, this year’s festival promises over 120 hours of live music, spread across five days and multiple stages.
Among the headline acts for 2025 are Justin Timberlake, Queens of the Stone Age, YUNGBLUD, Justice, and Shaggy. These world-class performers are joined by other major international names such as Bicep, Rudimental, Netsky B2B Nghtmre, Róisín Murphy, and Sofi Tukker.

However, what truly sets this year apart is the spotlight Electric Castle places on Romanian artists, showcasing the strength and creativity of the local music scene.
A number of exciting Romanian acts have secured key spots in the festival lineup. Andra Andriucă brings her poetic lyrics and alternative sound, promising a deeply personal and emotional set.

Dimitri’s Bats will captivate audiences with his signature sound textures and raw energy.

Metalcore band Taking Back August will deliver a high-intensity performance filled with power and passion.

Meanwhile, Musspell, one of the country’s most intriguing projects, offers a dark, atmospheric mix of electronic and ambient influences.

Romanian artists will also shine on the festival’s main stage. International pop sensation INNA and indie favorite Valeria Stoica have been personally selected by Justin Timberlake’s team to open his highly anticipated show on July 17. In another unique moment, TARAPHONICS, an original concept developed by the festival, will blend traditional Romanian lăutărească music with modern pop to deliver a one-of-a-kind live experience.

Electric Castle 2025 also features well-known Romanian rock legends IRIS and Zdob și Zdub, as well as some of the most relevant voices from the local hip-hop and trap scene, including Grasu XXL, Deliric x Silent Strike, Oscar, Rava, and Călinacho.
Beyond the strong Romanian presence, the festival maintains its genre-diverse identity.

Attendees can expect everything from techno and house to punk, soul, trap, and experimental music. DJs such as Jayda G, Hot Since 82, and Anfisa Letyago will keep the electronic stages alive into the early hours, while punk-rock acts like Refused, Bad Nerves bring their high-octane energy to the lineup.

Festivalgoers have until April 8 (midnight) to register on the official website, in order to access ticket sales, which open on April 9 at 12:00 PM (EET).

Accommodation options are already limited, with only five out of fifteen camping types still available.

With an exceptional blend of global superstars and the most promising Romanian acts, Electric Castle 2025 is set to be a landmark edition—one that celebrates not just music, but the cultural synergy between international excellence and local innovation.
