On May 8, Underground Pub in Iași will host a concert featuring COJO, one of the most dynamic emerging voices on the Romanian music scene.

COJO, real name Andrei-Ovidiu Cojocaru, first pursued a career in film directing and later transitioned into marketing and television production. Although music was always a passion, he initially created tracks using unmastered beats found online, without formal knowledge of music production.
In 2021, COJO’s artistic journey took a significant turn after meeting Alin Sterian, known as iRonic Distors. Recognizing the potential in COJO’s raw lyrics and distinctive energy, iRonic Distors proposed a creative collaboration that would move beyond improvised beats and bring a more polished, professional sound to COJO’s work.
Together, they founded Raspaparakis Studios, an independent label focused on developing authentic, boundary-pushing projects. Acting as COJO’s music producer and creative director, iRonic helped shape the concept and production of COJO’s new material. Their partnership quickly gained momentum, culminating in the release of ERUPT, COJO’s latest album, co-produced with Universal Music Romania.
Blending sharp lyricism with a powerful visual identity, COJO’s work stands out through its raw emotion, authenticity, and contemporary production. ERUPT marks a defining moment in his evolution, showcasing a unique fusion of personal storytelling and modern sound.
The concert at Underground Pub promises an energetic and intimate experience, offering the public a glimpse into COJO’s fast-rising career and his distinctive artistic vision.
