The Bucharest-based indie pop/alternative band Dimitri’s Bats will take the stage alongside international acts such as Massive Attack, Air, Fontaines D.C., Michael Kiwanuka, St. Vincent, The Streets, Kim Deal, and Foster the People at INmusic Festival 2025, held June 23–25 on the shores of Lake Jarun in Zagreb. This appearance marks a major milestone in the band’s career and a proud moment for Romania’s alternative music scene.

INmusic Festival is the largest open-air music festival in Croatia, drawing over 30,000 attendees annually. The 2025 edition promises an outstanding musical experience with a stellar lineup. Dimitri’s Bats will perform on the main stage on the festival’s opening day, June 23, delivering a taste of Romanian alternative energy and creativity to an international audience.
Over the years, Dimitri’s Bats have carved out a unique space in Romania’s alternative scene, blending alternative riffs with dance and electronic influences to create a sound that makes you want to move from the very first listen. Their constant evolution has earned them a loyal following both at home and abroad.
The band has played notable shows across Romania and Europe, appearing at festivals such as Electric Castle, Summer Well, Tallinn Music Week, Juwenalia PW, and BuSH Budapest. They’ve also shared the stage with international artists including The 1975, Son Lux, and Balthazar.
“We’re incredibly excited to perform alongside artists we admire and who have inspired us—like Air, Fontaines D.C., and St. Vincent. We’re grateful for the opportunity to showcase our music to an international crowd and to share a bit of the Romanian alternative scene abroad. It’s an important step for us and an experience we’re really looking forward to,”
says Radu Osaciuc, lead vocalist of Dimitri’s Bats.
